I read the new Catalina is no longer available with saildrive. Any thoughts as to why this change ? Were there any problems with the saildrive?

I believe Catalina was unable to deliver some C275's because they couldn't get saildrive units but in looking at their web site just now it lists engine appendages but not the actual diesel engine. I ordered my C275 in Jul-2021 without a diesel engine and it was delivered in Feb-24. I designed/installed an electric propulsion system using an EPropulsion Pod 3.0 and an E60 battery. It's been in use for about 9 months and has functioned flawlessly. Range is limited with the E60 battery (60 amp-hrs) but a larger battery or multiple batteries is an option.
