I'm intereted in installing a GPS/Chartplotter and a wind speed indicator on my 1985 Catalina 27 with wheel steering. The mast is down this winter for inspection and repairs and the binnacle is removed to repair a broken steering cable so I thought this would be an opportune time to add some electronics. I'm looking at the NAVMAN 5380 GPS/Chartplotter and a NAVMAM msthead wind speed/direction indicator with cockpit disply. Any thoughts/suggestions equipment recommendations? Happy Thanksgiving to all.
