Wow. I'm excited about my new 1976 fixed keel sailboat. How do owners get their boats off the lake or ocean without marina with a lift? Trailers seem to cost more than the boat. Patrickcurran50@hotmail.com

you hire a mover, costs us $150 =18 miles to launch harbor to launch, $125 to rig and step mast, and we keep our 27 at home!
Trailers are 4-5k and yes you can get a hinge and step your mast yourself and we plan to do this next year. but now you need a heavy duty truck to pull your trailer, so we let the pros move us!
