I've got a 1978 Catalina 25 (dinette layout) which I have been restoring over the last 3 years. When the boat was hauled last fall, the keel was bouncing up and down as the travel lift drove over unpaved surfaces. I was on the boat and was not able to see it but was told my "keel was loose". The keel was in fact not loose, but the bottom seemed to be "oil caning". A knowledgeable member of the club has indicated I need to retab the fiberglass hull to the interior support structures. Any other ideas of what to try, especially if this does not remedy the problem? Thanks.
