Anyone that owns a Catalina 25 or Capri 25 and didn't make it to the Nationals this year missed a hell of an event. The WYC sponsored it, and offered FREE registration to any out of town boats, as well as making an assortment of Capri 25s available for charter. Sadly, no one took us up of that offer to race against the 20+ local Capri 25s.
Here is a drone video of the event. The first 2:00 minutes of the video is an aerial tour of the WYC harbor, with the starting gun at 4:28. Several boats OCS and had to come back.
At 10:30 Consensus (eventual champ) has an awesome spin douse to round first.
At 12:50 Catapult has a moment of indecision and taps the boat in front of them.
