I just purchased a 76 model 22 and it is my first "larger" boat. I have been sailing a Precision 16 and got a deal on the Catalina. I would like to get an illustrated parts breakdown that has drawings of all of the parts. Any ideas on where to get such an item. I chose to check out the boat in detail before it goes to the lake. I found some pretty interesting things in the swing keel mechanism. One of the bolts was lost out completely and another one was twisted off in place. No doubt on the first trip to the lake, we would have lost the keel. If you haven't done any maintenance to yours in a while, it would be to your benefit to check out the situation. It is now at the boat yard getting a bottom job and a complete going over. I am also planning to day sail and trailer the rig. Wondering how realistic this is when it comes to stepping the mast and attaching the forward lower stays each trip? Thanks to you all. Bob
