Catalina 22 Carpet

Carpet ? Our 1987 didn't come with a carpet. I assume Catalina didn't supply one with the 1988 model.
It's a DIY thing.
Fwiw, All I do is buy rubber backed entryway mats and trim them with scissors so they fit at the bottom of the companionway. I prefer the rest of the cabin sole to be just wood or fiberglass so it's easy to clean/rinse. YMMV

DO NOT use household Berber ! We did that; it got soaked in a squall; within hours it smelled like wet mangy dog. We took refuge at friends' waterfront codo with dock. They said they could smell us before we put a line on. We had to shower in their condo and change clothes before we could sit down at their dinner table.
I bought some of this off of amazon a couple years back. Worked great.
