I just put a 1983 Catalina 22 in the water at Port Aransas Texas. Yesterday was one of the all-time high water marks of sailing! Cool, crisp, north wind, 10-15 and full sun in the afternoon. Dolphins nearby and the Whooping Cranes are passing through, complete with a human Festival.
However, I have heard that a swing-keel Cat22 is not so good in salt water. I contracted for a year at Island Moorings, a great place to anchor in Port A, but now I am a little worried
