Anyone ever run into this???Picked up raw water (fresh water) in my Universal 21HP engine. Got the water out of the cylinders (which is a project in itself) and looked for the reason the muffler water backed up into the engine exhaust and then cylinders.Found a anti-siphon loop under the sink and at the top, it had a small check-valve screwed to the look that was hung up. This check-valve has a big flex pipe connected which goes into the bilge area. Looks like this check-valve is suppose to block raw water from going out the anti-siphon vent hole/pipe when the engine is running when the raw water is under pressure thus putting water into the muffler. With the engine shut down and no pump pressure, it should open and break the siphon. I put a clear plastic hose on the new check-valve and can see some water in it on occasion. Is this normal? Thanks!
