cat 30 masthead sheaves

planning to replace the masthead sheaves on my '83 cat mkI. checked the Int.Cat 30 website for specs but found nothing. would like to order the right size sheaves before I go to the boat for spring maintenance.

Might want to post this on the C30 forum. The 309 has a completely different rig than the C30.

Masthead sheave dilema

I recently made the same decision. My main was extremely difficult to hoist. 2 possible problem points. The cars are worn on the main and binding in the mast track; notice all the new track solutions available? Second; the sheave my be binding under load. I purchased the roller sheave from Catalina direct. It is not installed yet so I don't know if that is the right choice.
