Cat 28 mk II wing keel too tender?

I'm considering purchase of a 1994 Catalina 28 mk II with a wing keel. I am a bit concerned about how tender she will be in our strong winds in Hawaii. 15 knots is normal. The only other 28's here are full fin keel. I would appreciate any of your impressions/experiences.

The wing isn't the problem

Most of these boats mine included are over sailed. When I got mine it hat a 150 genny. I reduced to a 125 and have never looked back. As the winds rise I can wait longer to furl the jib. I am quit comfortable with a reef in the main and a full jib in 20kts of wind.
