My 1988 Cat 22 WK has the trapezoidal Bomar hatch on the foredeck.
It leaks worse than a busted spaghetti strainer. I've been looking for replacement gasket material and haven't found anything that looks close. The material on CD doesn't appear to have the same profile and is a little pricey for a mistake if it doesn't match.
I took these to help diagnose:
Profile:
Key is 5/16" width (didn't have a ruler ):
I measure the perimeter at 90" or 7.5ft of material. Is it just old and compressed which is why it doesn't look like the CD material? Anyone out there had success with a replacement? I searched the forums and did not find a satisfactory answer on quick inspection.
