This was our trip at the weekend before last. I had to break it into three parts for Youtube.

In Part one we sail with a pod of Dolphins through St George Sound and then head up the Apalachicola River and over night at White City.

On part two we sail from Port St. Joe to Panama City. We spend a night on anchor at Shell Island and enjoy the next day there.

In Part three we finish our stay on Shell Island and because of a tropical storm on the Yucatan that is producing rough seas, we are forced to motor 16 hours straight to try and beat the upcoming stormy weather.

Loved them, my favorite part was:
"Do you want me to keep all of these?". Having raised three little explorers, I knew what the reply would be before it was even spoken......"Yep!"

It is fun sharing these adventures with a small child. Mico gets excited about things we take for granted.

I think you are going to love having your boat at Panama City. There is so much protected water sailing and the depth drops quickly off shore. It makes it so some artificial reefs are only a few miles from shore. Panama city is also sandwhiched by Destin to the west 50 miles and Cape San Blas/Apalachicola 50 miles to the east. Two great destinations just a full days sail away.
