carpeting template

I would like to put carpeting in out '83 Catalina 25. Can anyone supply me with a template? The boat we purchased doesn't have carpeting for me to pull out and use as a pattern. Any ideas?

Carpet

When I got my new 270 (without carpet), I just got a few posterboards from the local Office Max, along with some tape, and made a template. Took it to a carpet shop, got the new carpet bound on the edges, and it was a "beautiful job".

Use newspaper and duct tape

I've made templates for kitchen floors and bathrooms this way.
