Your not alone. My wife and I did the same thing, bought a 97 H-26, now we gotta learn how to sail. According to all our friends we are crazy! I don't think so. This has been the 2nd most enjoyable thing I've ever done. Would be intrested to know which school u are going, and where u will be sailing after graduation. Ive been running up and down ICW having great time. Would like to venture off coast but need more experience I think. Respond through this site or contact me tspell@intrstar.net

Our Sailing Life!

Right now, we keep our boat up at Kerr Lake. We're going to Blue Water Sailing School in the US Virgin Islands! I'm so glad we decided to sail for a month before school...because I think we'll pay a lot more attention now! Plus I have lots of questions for the teacher!!! Ultimately, we want to sail the ICW too! Summer of 2005, we're planning to take the whole summer off and put the boat somewhere on the coast (unless we've already bought a bigger boat!!) and just sail north for 6 weeks, and then turn around and sail back for 6 weeks... I'll let you know how school goes! Carol
