Greetings Peggy I am the one who did not have a vent in my waste tank that called you a couple of months ago. I did get a vent into the tank. It was not to hard. You recommended to replace the old Jabsco head. I felt like rebuilding the old one. I felt that would be more environmental. So I go a kit for $40. Today I started to disassemble the head. It was pretty straight forward. In fact it looked easy. It was so easy I quickly found that the source of the little leak was not the seal be a cracked ear at the base of the pump. Boaters World has another head for $100. Maybe I can get a refund on my $40 kit. I will have to caution my guests that a lot of leverage can crack that pump flange if they are rough with it or if the boat is rocking while they are pumping. Careful with the head pump
