dont think you would
the capri is faster. and the same cabin room basically. bigger cocpit for more people on board. no cabinets or furniture to set things on but them the mkII only has that little table. i bought the late 80's boat as i felt the interior was better. i dont use the dinette but i sleep there and there is a place for the coffee pot and sink to rince out the cups without hanging overboard. however if you dont like the wing keel then you are stuck with the mkII. i have a wing ,if i didnt i would trailer more . sometimes wish i had the swingkeel for ease of launching. if i was staying in one marina and did not trailer id buy a used boat ,either one, with a wing keel . if i even thought i'd trailer it ,i'd get a used boat with a swing keel and have the pivot replaced, zinc installed repack the bearing on the trailer and cruise all around the country. personally with all the used boats on the market i cant see why to buy a new one. they get scratched hit and dented even when you are not on it. hope this helps.
