Really depends on intended use
All in all, they would be fairly identical in maintence, launching, upkeep issues, etc. What do you want to do with the boat....that's what you need to decide to make your choice. One's a little cruising boat, the other a faster racing boat. Not to say you don't race cats nor cruise on capris, but they have different designs. More room top sides in the Capri, wider decks, longer cockpit, etc. The Cat gives you more room below at the expense of shorter cockpit, etc. Can't go wrong with either as they are nice boats...great starters (and keepers for that matter). Just decide the boats primary purpose first. Brad
