Capri 18 Cradle Lift or Strap Lift

Any thoughts on strap lift vs cradle lift for the Capri 18?

Either will work, but the boat is already set up from the factory to lift the boat from the keel with a simple lifting harness. We basically copied the lifting harness from her big sister, the Capri-22. They share so much in common anyway, might as well lift them the same way too. Best of all, the harness stores under the cabin floor in the keel sump when not being used. :dance:

I should have been more specific, this is for a boat slip.

I would think a cradle would support the hull better over the long haul.

We are leaning towards a cradle, with a keel bunk, so the lift will be almost a clone of the trailer. Straps would fit a lot of boats, but we are not sure how you keep them from snagging the keel going in and out of the slip.
