Jib selection
I have a Capri 18, the bigger sister of the C-16. I currently use a Catalina sails 135 furling jib with my CDI FF-2. It works very well in 8-20+ mph winds. I considered getting a 150 jib and furling it when the winds get strong, but was advised against it. The 150s are made of a lighter fabric and will blow out soon if used in strong winds. The suggestion was made that I look into a cruising spinnaker (no pole) for light air. People who have used them say they're easy to use. Most of the major sailmakers can supply you with one.
