FABRIC GUARD 16 OZ HIGH TECH 303
I wish the previous owner of my boat had used this stuff from the beginning! I have what is the most beautifully executed canvas I have seen on a boat, heavy duty, beautiful details, and very functional, but the sun-exposed surfaces are unrecognizable in color from the rest. It looks like two different colors.
I assume it will all have to be done over. With my new budget constrictions II think I may be doing it myself! I have a walking foot Alpha-sew machine (same as non zig-zag Sailrite) that someone gave to me, and a big roll of "toast" Sunbrella. Oh, well, maybe I'm kidding myself. I'll start by just trying to make some winch covers and teak handrail covers.
I have used the 303 Marine Aerospace Protectant on my AB CSM RIB since new, and it looks great after 6 years, except I still have those pesky dirt spots in the texture of the fabric. I used bleach and a brush on my old RIB to address that, but I think it may have done more damage than it was worth.
So, sorry for the long winded reply, but, YES, use 303!
