The forward hatch on my '89 Catalina 25 has come apart. First I glued the frosted plexiglass back into the frame with 5200 (Satan's glue.) That worked for a while. Then I noticed that there was a leak where the two ends of the gasket had shrunk. While trying to install a replacement gasket from CD the plexiglass glued in with 5200 had come loose and now presented a new leak problem.
Has anyone else had the same problem and how did you reconstruct the hatch? It's the rainy season in Florida and water leaks are a big problem, so want to solve the problem as quickly as possible.
