can I put a bimini on 25' Mac.

We have a 25' McGregor that we just love. Although we are always fighting the sun. I am trying to find out if anyone has installed a bimini on a small boat epecially one like mine, and how they got along wiht it. I'm afraid the convenice of shade will interfere with the sailing of the boat. Pleas help??

Bimini Install

A bimini is really a needed addition if you are sailing in the hot weather, it makes such a difference at the end of the day. I installed a Bimini on my Mac26D in Florida. Just be sure to measure the clearances. I had made mine a bit to tall the first time, i cut a bit off the legs. The next year I installed a track to allow me to lower the bimini and move it back over the back rail. It made it easier to get it out of the way and also to tie it down without having to remove it. I believe I got it from mail order. I hope you get it installed ok. Good luck sailing
