Can I offer a free 25 O'day here?

Don't want to be out of line here.
I have a 1975 25' O'day swing keel project boat with all the peices I'd like to bequeath to someone.
It is in Tampa Bay.
Would that be better put in classifieds?

Free 1975 O'day 25 with clear title.

Can send few old pictures to see if there is any interest.
These are five years old and not an indication of current condition.
The rig is in my yard. The boat is on the hook in Big Biyou in South St Petersburg Fl (33705).
There is no trailer.
I have all the parts but no engine to go with the package.
I have a new swinging center board and kick-up rudder bought from Idasailer.
There is no board in the boat currently.
I have a garage full of various parts that I salvaged off other O'day 25's. I am reasonably certain the bottom of this boat was epoxy (maybe VC watertight?) coated before the bottom was done a number of years back. Speaking to the choir -this is a great little trailerable gunkholer/pocket cruiser and this boat could be put back to sail ready with the right owner.
If someone wants to take the boat and part it out thats fine with me.
Lots of good stuff here.
I have a clear title and will sign over for free to the first person who will get her out of the water. I can tow it to the ramp and assist getting on your trailer.
Would even use my truck and deliver anywhere in the Tampa Bay area.

I'm going out to her on Sunday and will take current pictures and have the bottom cleaned.

You can also try putting it on Craig's List in your area. Years ago a friend of mine wanted to give me his 1975 O'Day 25 keel/centerboard sloop. I would have taken it if I didn't have an O'Day 222. I wound up finding him someone to take it and my friend gave it to him. I helped him sail the boat up from the Cape to our club on the Taunton River and that boat sailed beautiful. It was one of the fastest O'Day 25s in the club. Give Craig's List a try. Someone will take it if it's still in repairable condition.

Great idea. I do have a guy coming on Wed to look the gift horse in the mouth.
Hopefully it will be good match.
If he doesn't bite I'll definetly throw it on Craig's list.
