Cockpit floor/engine cover how do remove this darn thing!!!! Screws removed, but it seems to be glued shut!!!! Tips on removal without it breaking up and new ways to re install so it will be easier to open next time.

I would try to use a flexible putty knife to break the seal or perhaps some like DeBond to loosen the glue (or whatever was used). Not sure what DeBond does to wood, but it works well on fiberglass without damage. You may want to test it on some other piece of wood first. Main question is why was this board glued in the first place? Board looks to be warped and so you may want to explore, and remedy, the cause of that.

You can easily install any number of lifting latches like the one listed below to make future removals easy.
