Can anyone tell me what this part is from a rolling furler

Hi Guys,
I am looking at a Mac 26 as my first sail boat. The boat has a rolling furler for the jib sail. Unfortunately, the shop I am looking to buy from knows nothing about sail boats and currently the mast is down. I noticed that this part of the rolling furler or jib is broken. Can anyone tell me what this is and where I might replace it? Sorry for the poor picture, I will try to get a better one this weekend.

It appears to be a broken foil for a CDI Flexible Furler. You could order a new foil from them: http://www.sailcdi.com/welcome.htm.

Some photos of the round metal part at the base could help confirm the part.

Don't buy without them showing you how to rig the boat. Might be other parts broken or missing. These are the types of little things that novice boat buyers get screwed over by irresponsible sellers.
