Can anyone identify this pump?

I am refitting the galley aboard FH and have found what I believe is my answer to the drinking water supply. When I crewed on my friend’s boat (J44), I saw that he used a 5 gallon water bottle to supply his drinking water and decided that was the way I wanted to ensure fresh drinking water for the near future. I found this hand pump, but need to ID it’s make for replacement of a packing gland, I think….

I think the OP wants to rebuild the pump he has.

But, while I don't know the make, I have seen them and I'm sure it's old (like me).
If you can disassemble the pump and measure the gaskets/seals, you should be able to order them from Defender or McMaster Carr or similar companies that sell pumps.

I found this pump at what may be a bargain, if it works and I can determine how much it was originally. I made a bid of $50.00 but I don't want spend more than necessary, also I am trying to figure out if I am missing a gasket, but cannot find out who makes it in order to see a schematic

If it needs repair it should be free. Obviously.

Thanks for the prompt responses, I am trying to adhere to the current footprint of the galley counter space, and this one works really well…. I originally wanted to use another (attached), which I found out later, would not fit

You could do a gravity feed situation. I don''t know how this works for your galley. Gravity worked pretty well for us with regard to wine boxes. OK, yeah, we had to tilt them a little as the level went down -which it did too quickly. For weekend cruisers I question the need for a fresh water tank - for drinking water purposes. Even for longer cruises we would use gallons of "Spring water." We would use the fresh water tank to flush the toilet and for wash downs.

Or buy a 2 gallon fridge type container with spigot for few bucks, Its what I use for overnight to couple of days, plenty for drinking and cooking and easy to stow.

If your pump is anything like mine, the packing gland consists of an "O" ring. Finding an "O" ring was easy for mine as it seemed to be a common size. Keep the ring lubed with a non petroleum grease such as Super Lube and you're set for life.

I have an old fynspray (australian or British make I think . ) it is the best hand pump I ever had. there Is a website where you can order a rebuild kit. but first see if the o rings need replaced or the gaskets need greased.
