Dependo on the reduction
I recently repowered my 37-c with a Yanmar 3jh2e with a 3.14 : 1 reduction in the transmission and have a 15X16 prop which is working well. It holds the max rpm's to 3200 and can push the boat to 6 knots in smooth water at 2200 rpm's.
