So I'm taking the plunge and buying a Campbell motor sailor prop. $545 for my 28 but I'm sold it's well worth the money. I always back into my slip so anything to make that easier is worth it. Anyone ever use one?

I'm no help with experience with that prop but I am very interested in your results as I am thinking about doing the same.
My concern is that my boat is a shoal draft and I do not think I should make further compromises in it's sailing performance. However ;
I'm very comfortable handling boats at the dock but pant rei will be 5 tons more than I am familiar with and prop walk will be very new to me . The prop may be exactly what I need.

My understanding is that it creates less drag. Now I personally thing I have the wrong size prop on my boat right now. I see no appreciable increase in speed drone about 2200rpm to max rpm on the engine. I was repowered with a Yanmar. My father in law is reporting his CSY with a cummins deisel. When he spoke with them about the prop he will actually be able to reduce the size of his 2"

I googled cambell motor sailor props and read up on them. There seams to be some issues as to customer service. Getting them to repitch the prop if needed seams to be an issue.

Have you checked out Max prop?
