Has anyone attempted to pass under the Route 50 bridge in Cambridge and if you did what was your mast height? We own a Beneteau 331 with what the manual says is a 48ft mast height (I assume that does not include the antenna and other stuff atop the mast). The Route 50 bridge at Cambridge claims 50ft MHW. I am very wary of attempting this but would like to know if others have tried.

I also posted in destinations but wondered if a fellow B331 owner might chime in.

Thanks.

We have a 2001 B331. My manual says the mast height is 45.3 ft. I add 3 ft for the antenna. We spent July 4th at the Hyatt Cambridge Marina on our 331.

No problem getting under the bridge. I wasn't sure about the bridge myself until we ran into a couple on another 331.. They've been going under the bridge for years.

My mast height is 50' and i've been contemplating going under during low tide but haven't been brave enough to attempt it yet. Let us know how you do with your 331.

Be very carefull on a weekend. They do not have a no wake zone around the bridges (incredible but true) and large power boats rip through the bridges so their wakes will lift you higher.
