Calling all O'day 34 or 35 owners

I posted this in the O'day owners forum but I thought I'd post it here as well.
I'm working on a new boat project and I need a measurement. My boat is four hours away so it's a little out of the way for me. I'm replacing my toerail teak caps with composite material and I need to know how wide the existing teak caps are. Also, while we're at it, I'd love to know the length of each of the three sections are. These caps sit on top of the fiberglass toerail. If anyone knows or has closer access to their boats, I'd appreciate the info.

I should be at the boat over the weekend and will try to measure them. Why composite material? Have you checked Rudy at D&R Marine they may have replacement parts you can buy already cut. Check them out. Great site.

I'm using composite decking similar to Trex. The brand I bought has a varnished teak version and it looks great. I've used this material on the stair treads on the swim ladder for four years and it still looks like new. I'm just trying to get rid of the exterior wood but keep the varnished wood look. I'll keep the pieces that I remove because they're still good and if this little experiment fails, I'll refinish them and put them back on.
I'll be at our boat this weekend as well so don't worry about those measurements, thanks for the offer though! I'll post some before and after photos.
I Just looked at D & R's website and they have replacements but they sell both 3/4 and 1" versions. I'm thinking mine are 1".

What stair treads on the swim ladder? Mine is just stainless tubine, no treads. Maybe it was an option for a upgraded swim ladder? What year is the boat? I saw a picture of a 34 or 35 and the teak toe rail caps looked a lot taller than mine, i must have the 3/4 inch version. I'd guess the width has to be the same but the height varies. Post a pic once you get done I need to replace some trim boards and will be interested to see how it looks.

I added the stair treads, much easier on the feet! Our boat is a 1985. Most likely the same swim ladder as yours. I'm as interested to see how it turns out as you. I'll shoot photos of the swim ladder as well.

some are shorter/longer, however depends on the boat. Oday was pretty standard on his boats parts
