Well folks, first off, I hope all of you had a fine Thanksgiving holiday! Then I wanted to aprise all of you that might be interested, that I found 98% of my leak. It was rainwater. It was running down the hull from an every 6 seconds drip off of the bottom of the anchor well. I first smeared the little tube (drain) that exits the anchor well near the bottom with boatlife caulk, no leak there, it still dripped. Then I cleaned out the entire locker and poured a whole batch (I think it's 4 oz.) of Marine-Tex polymer putty in the bottom of the locker filling the space below the drain....still it leaked. ARRRGHH! Then I began to get serious. I removed the starboard anchor locker door in order to pull up the triangular cover that fits around the headstay and furler. There were extra holes under it! Someone had drilled twice and screwed once! Clean area up. Smear on 3M 4200!! Smear 4200 on screws for locker door. Wait for downpour. Go to boat. Find no LEAK!!!!!! YESSS!! These are the true confessions of a certified leak freak. Ron S/Y Best Revenge

Congrats!!!!

While it certainly is gratifying to correct some problem (like a leak), I wonder if Hunter's production schedule is so tight that there is no time for workers to correct mistakes like that. You were lucky that the water found its way to the bilge (hopefully without taking side paths throughout the interior). I have a 87 Legend 37 that they put together WITHOUT sealant on ANY of the ports..... That was not fun the first times I was aboard and it rained...
