Gosh, that's so bad. Tell me why do Californians still build their homes in fire prone areas? As a former volunteer fire fighter I learned to appreciate fire prevention and every year I see examples of poor fire prevention in your lovely state.

Some of these areas are going to burn eventually regardless, and when the Santa Anas kick up it doesn't matter how well you have cleared your land, the sparks and embers are everywhere, it is something you have to see to believe.
