Could someone give me their calibration settings for a Ratheon ST1000+ used on a Catalina 22. I have my mounts done and have the geometry as specified with the Autopilot, 18 inches in front of the pintles. I guess I expected this data to be furnished by Raytheon, but it was not. I think that a Catalina 22 is probably one of the smaller boats that this autopilot would probably be used on. I am particularly intrested in the Rudder Gain, Average Cruise Speed, and Rudder Damping settings. I plan on leaving the "Off Course Alarm" set to 20 degrees. I plan on leaving the "Local Magnetic Variation" Off, if it corresponds to the boat compass. I also plan on setting the "North/South Correction" to North, and adjusting the "Latitude" to 39 Degrees, which is what it is for the Chesapeake where we will be sailing. If you have any other suggestions on the calibration, or using the autopilot, I am always open for suggestions. Thanks, Aldo
