I have a 1967 CAL 34. Reaching out to anybody who might have had experience in removing the Cockpit's/combing cover? It has a stop on both ends of the cover with two medal strips that the cover runs over, allowing it to open and close. But can't seem to determine how to best remove this. I need to re-bed the wood that the metal strips are attached to before the winter, as they are leaking. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.
