Charles: I have a 1978 3-29 which is the 'cruiser' version of the 2-29. Same hull design just a different interior. I raced at the begining of October and was rated at 186 PHRF.
My '73 is #460 and has a Bukh 10hp 1cyl diesel. Curious if they used other engines in that same year. Also do you have a steel fuel tank, did you replace it, and where did you locate the filler plate if moved?
John, my hull is #479 1973. The boat is documented. I still have original diesel, a Farrymann (one or two r's) 12hp single cyl. I was able to talk to Billapworth (?) and I did not know of but one rig configuration. The mast is approx. 40' from water line. I do need to measure.
