Cable change inside Merriman YS Pedestal ???

I just bought a used boat and I need to do preventative maintenance (replace shift and throttle cables)in my Merriman Yacht Specialties but need help disconnecting the cables inside the pedestal. Does anyone know how to get to the cable clamps inside the pedestal? Thanks

Mine (Throttle) had a screw in front

of the pedistal that went to a clamp on the outside of the cable housing that I had to loosen then the cable would move.I didn't change the gear cable
