cabin wood stain

We need to re stain some of the wood in the galley area. Does anyone know the color stain or where to find a good match for a 40.5 1993 Hunter? I tried rubbing with oil that helped some but some areas are pretty faded.

I've found that a mixture of two or three Minwax stains can pretty much match any color you want. It's trial and try again on a scrap piece of veneer from an older project or from a boat yard or a woodwork shop or bare wood. Lowes, Home Despot or Ace has a variety of colors in stock.
If you try this, make sure you start with the cans well shaken as pigment settles to the bottom. Then, as color demands indicate a lighter shade let it settle a bit.

Where can I find instructions on how to re-stain/refresh the cabin wood color? Mine is 14years old and several area of galley has faded.

I used min wax color gunstock it seemed to work well on my 94 Hunter- obviously try small area and see if it works for you

Try some lemon oil before you star trying to match a stain/ color. Did wonders on my 35 year old wood.
