My stationary cabin windows are leaking into the cabin. I am interested in how to stop the leak without dismantling the complete window unit.

had the smoke gray lexan/plastic outer "windows" that were held in place with screws. All I had to do was remove screws, clean up around the rectangular opening into the cabin, and rebed around rectangular opening and perimeter of window. Not a big deal. Some earlier models had a window with angular aluminum frame, can't help with that one.

Window Leak

We had a minor leak in one of our fixed ports, or so we thought. Turned out that when we removed the exterior grab rails on the port side for refinishing, that turned out to be the culprit. Seems the water was coming in from one of the screw points in the grab rail and was dripping slowly over the fixed port. Depending on where the water marks are around your port, you may want to look into this as a potential cause. Our boat is a '79 H27 with original everything.
