Cabin Paint

Hi everyone! I am going to paint the insides of the cabin and I was wondering if I should use any special type or brand of paint?

Hey Rob! How is the restoration going? I have done very little painting below, but if its anywhere other than the bilge, any good quality alkyd paint should work, as long as the surface is properly prepped. I considered painting the textured vinyl "wallpaper" on my bulkheads with melamine, but in the end they cleaned up pretty well with ammonia-based cleaner and a scrub brush. In the bilge, i would use a proper marine enamel or one-part polyurethane. (Sometimes actually sold as "bilge paint")

I don't know where you might be painting, but you may want to consider some of those mildew resistant paints.
