When we have heavy rains on Galveston Bay, I have a small cabin leak around center cabin light in my 373...It is close enough to the mast that I think that is where it is coming from,,,,have clear silicone sealant standing by, but not sure where to apply,,,,anyone else with a similar problem?

I have a 423 however I assume your setup is similar. I would check under the mast - I have two wooden panels on the side of the mast support column. Take those out to see if the leak is coming from the through deck fittings (for lights). A quick way to tell is telltale staining on the back side of the wooden panels.

I've had leak like TJ describes and it was from the "waterproof" fittings for radar or some electronic thing further up the mast. I strap my dinghy down on deck for winter and it shifted a bit so one of the wires was pushed to one side, straightened out the fitting and leak stopped, for now.

Agree, found a wire thru deck rubber grommet had hardened over the years and allowed a leak. Replace or silicone your choice

UALIAH, I've had a similar problem. Finally, after much staining of my salon table & floor, I discovered that water was being retained at the bottom of the mast where it passes through the deck. I drilled four small holes ( N-E-S-W ) as low as I could in the base of the mast. PROBLEM SOLVED !!! Fair Winds.... LT,MRF, SN-IN, USPS

If similar to my 343 it could be from panorama window. It may need recaulking. Use Sikaflex.
