I have a Hot and Cold set up in my CAT 30, 1980. The cold water side in the galley and the head flows strong and steady with the pump sounding strong. The Hot water side in the head is the same, full and strong flow with the pump running fine.
In the galley the hot water stream is weak and the pump pulses. I cleaned the supply hose out from the output side of the pump and it seemed to work well for a while, but it has returned. Any ideas where to look before I pull the system a part?

Thanks,

I have had scale build-up in the faucet and bottom connection on the hot side in the galley. Your pump is cycling because of the restriction allowing enough back pressure to satisfy its pressure switch. There seems to be a restriction somewhere from the tank outlet to the faucet.
Trace lines and connections.. Happy hunting.

Since it is only the hot side of the faucet, I'd follow hot water hose from the faucet back to where it tee's off from the main hot water hose. If no kinks are found I would swap the hot and cold water lines. If hot is then fine and the cold is slow, it's probably scale build up as @kloudie1 suggested or an issue in the faucet valve. And I agree with him that is causing the pump to cycle.
I was recently working on my C30 water system and found hoses zip tied so tight together the hoses were pinched.

I had to give you all the results. I followed advise and switched feeds ... Hot to Cold faucet and Cold to Hot faucet. The Hot side was still slow with cold water. So I pulled the hot water connector hose, the piece that is in between the Hot water feed and the faucet feed. I could not even see through it. I soaked in vinegar and ran a long zip tie through it several times. Cleaned up and I could see through it like a scope :). All is working.

I am going to look for an additive that can be added safely to keep all the hoses clean.

Thanks again.. one item checked off the list !!

You won't find an additive that prevents scale build up in your fresh water plumbing that won't also get into your fresh water. An annual or semi-annual recommissioning of the entire fresh water system according to instructions I've posted here many times is all that's needed.
