granted the Cetol is a bit darker than clear, but not by much. It gave a warm glow to my sole and most important (if properly applied the first time) will never peel and really only ever needs a wash and a second coat. Far more important considerations than a little darkening of thsole in my view.

But why not...

...just use what Hunter uses as standard fininsh? That be Daly's Profin and should be a sufficient answer from a tried and true source. ;-)
