When I got to my boat last weekend I found my top companion way plank was blown in on one side from wicked wind storms at Steele Creek Marina. There was an inch or so of water pooled in the top and bottom starboard corners of the floor well. The water had been there for a couple of weeks. After I got the water out it continued to squeeze out from under the wood flooring when walked on. Therfore some of the caulking around the flooring had holes to let water get underneath. After sailing this weekend the floor was sufficiently dry. The floor still looked discolored in the corners that were under water. Mostly the light strips are now gray in these areas. Any ideas on what to do to restore the flooring and protect it for the future?
