Looking at replacing the cabin dome lights in my '92 Legend 35.5. Of course, I was at the boat this weekend, and of course, forgot to measure diameter of the existing lights, and the boat is 2 hours away. Anyone that has replaced the lights happen to remember the diameter? Or perhaps someone is on their boat, or close enough, they could get a measurement? Looking at the Seasense LED R/W dome light, just not sure if I need 5 1/2" or 6 3/4".

Thanks!

Just curious, why wouldn't you just replace the conventional bulbs with LED type? I did that and they work like a charm. Same fixture, no hassle. I just removed one of the bulbs, took it to the store and they fixed me up with the proper LED match.

I'm actually doing the same with my anchor light. I had a brand new fixture purchased for $70 but ended up taking it back and buying two new LED replacement bulbs for less than $20.

Biggest reason for the fixture replacement is the added functionality of dual red/white bulbs. Do a lot of night sailing, and I hate having the night vision screwed up when I run below to grab something. Also, after 20+ years, at least one has a questionable bulb/wireing connection. And the fixture is only about $40.
