I have a 1981 C30. I am hoping to hear some various ways people have had good success with rigging their asymmetrical Spinnaker tack lines on a C30 TRBS with a roller furling headsail. It seems to be a challenge to rig the tack line block out front of the headstay. I am hoping there is a simple and elegant solution for this with minimum compromises.

I installed a Selden bowsprit on my 1982 Catalina 30. I'm not a tall rig but it's worked just fine. I had to modify the bow pulpit and I installed a waterstay but the waterstay hasn't been necessary. This is my first post, so I don't know my way around this site and I also don't know how to add pictures of what I've done.

Can you post a figure of the bow pulpit. I am interested in doing the same. I would like to see an example before I try.

Look under Lorraine III (that's 3 upper case i's) under Owners photo album. We came across this solution by accident after cutting off the bow pulpit with other plans for it. If we would have thought about it earlier, we would have been very careful to make clean cuts so that the stainless weld could be accomplished easier and cleaner. Alas! But it's strong as an ox. I heavily reinforced below the deck underneath the mooring cleats, bow pulpit and windlass with 1/4" glass board and glassed all that to the hull because I want no failures (we're planning a 3 year trip beginning in 2016).

Captnron-- great pictures, I liked how you integrated that. I have the motor hoist too...makes all the difference.

the anchor roller pin

I also have a tr/bs and fly an Asym. I have mounted the tack block to the spare anchor roller pin. I use several nylon washers to keep it tight against the side plate so that it doesn't bend the pin or move around. I has worked great for me.
