tom i have a 30ft tall rig and catalina offers a spearder kit for about $245 dollars.. this includes all the hardware to replace the old wooden ones.. i am in the process of replacing mine at this moment.. the process is simple and the new kit mounts up to the old holes,, i have taken my mast down and rebuilding the mast head and spreaders.. if i can help you in any way let me know my email address is makcap@cox.net and my name is michael
This looks like a no-brainer. I can buy 7 lineal ft. of sitka spruce for $28. I have removed all of the fittings from the old spreaders and they can be reused. I have access to woodworking tools. I will be in touch with you soon. Thanks, Tom C30 Hull#3233
