My catalina 27 std rig Out board has a verticalclearance of 38 feet from the waterline to the top of the mast. If I were you I would check trailer sailers web site. they have the specs for the catalina 27 std rig. Any way i am almost positive (off the top of my head) that it is 38 feet. I have to go under four bridges to get out to open water and one fixed bridge is forty feet from the water to the highest point of the bridge at mean high tide. I clear it every time. I checkeed this all out last summer But I would go to the trailer sailers web site because there is so much info listed it will make your head spin. good luck, joe
