C120 Chartplotter

I have a 2005 Hunter 41 ac. My master plotter is an E 80 at the desk below and E120 in the cockpit. The E80 , the master, is running perfect; but the E120 will not recognize the master. I updated the software and checked the cable in the back of the 120 but the 120 continues to reboot. The 120 will not even shut off properly when the E 80 is on, but will when the E80 is turned off. Has this happened to anyone?

I have the same setup. I once had to go in and reset the 120 to look for a master. I think I had to do it with the 80 off and then turn them on together.
