C&c 25 Mki

Hi guys,
I am a complete amateur sailor and I just bought a C&C 25.
I've crewed a few times on a sail boat but never skippered one myself.
I'm working on trying to winterize my boat (for the hard North-East winter) and am looking forward to learning how to sail in the Spring.
Glad to be part of this forum and hope that people can help a complete novice into the world of sailing.

Welcome Scotchy! You have a pretty good sized "first sailboat". There is a lot of good information and people here to help you in your new life as a cap'n and sailboat owner. It must be frustrating to purchase a boat and then have to lay it up for an entire winter season before you can use it!!!! not a problem down here in sunny florida. Welcome.

And i am in the same 'boat' i purchased my c&c25 1 month ago (jan 2nd) and just waiting for spring to arrive. I started to learn to sail 2 summers sgo ona tanzer 25.

I am planning to buy a 1984 C&C 24. Would like to know:
- how to evaluate how much it is worth
- where to get an owner's manual
- where I can buy parts
